Many Thanks to Abigail and Zoe , these ladies went above and beyond. There was a slight oversight on my reservation, I was looked after 200 %. Seaham Hall does look after guests to a 5 star π experience. Nothing was too much trouble and we had a delightful afternoon π . We were treated to delicious sandwiches, scones with cream and jam with tea and coffee. Ive always found staff at this Hotel, very friendly. I've made another reservation and looking forward to it.
Definitely visit here. I cannot think of a reason not to visit here. One of the best spas I have ever spent time in. We stayed for 2 blissful nights and all of the staff, bar none, are amazing. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms and the guests are extremely well looked after and while it is a luxury venue it doesn't come, like many places do, with the atmosphere of feeling like because you aren't extremely wealthy you don't fit in. The reason for 4 stars not 5 is that when you compare here the likes of Swinton Hall or Ramside Hall the food has them beat. We dined in the ozone restaurant both nights and the food was nice but not what I've come to expect from a 5 star resort. I can highly recommend the duck leg and the vegetable noodle soup, both were cooked perfectly and so flavourful but some of the other menu choices don't quite cut it for me. Our biggest vice is coffee and the coffee here is just ok. I know that seems very picky but I think this could be a small change that would make a big difference to someone like myself. Seaham Hall is certainly a smaller and more intimate venue than most which I think adds to the outstanding atmosphere they have nurtured from the moment you enter the hotel (or spa). I enjoyed a very happy birthday here and we will most definitely be back. Every little detail has been thought through at seaham hall from the amenities in your room to how you're welcomed and escorted peacefully into the spa, and while this is a very picky review I cannot fault what this wonderful venue do. My review is written in the context of having visited some very tough competitors and seaham hall stands towards the top of its class.
Amazing place. Stayed for one night and everything was just perfect.
Just bought gift voucher for daughter let you know how it was when she's been

Great place for a coffee and a game of pool
Excellent hotel, excellent staff and excellent setting .
We spent 3 days at the hotel in an accessible room and all the facilities were first class
My only problem that I had was the accessible shower where I problem transferring from my wheelchair to the shower chair.
Would be helpful if there was grab bars fitted.
Staff from reception, porters dining staff, house staff were first class, friendly, courteous, attentive and knowledgeable about the history of the hotel
Dining in The Dining room with the Taster menu was excellent a fantastic menu
